The 2019 UMACS conference connected key aspects of sustainability that are often overlooked; diversity, community, and creativity. We experience all three of these through our keynote speaker, Karen Diver, insightful presentations, breakout sessions, and incredible tours of sustainability in action. We explored ways to act locally and make a difference globally through communication and community-building.
