Join us for this free professional development retreat, hosted by the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire's Sustainability Office to meet in-person with sustainability leaders from local colleges and universities to network, share about your work and find inspiration for your future sustainability efforts. This retreat will include: 
  • an opportunity to meet with members of the UMACS Steering Committee (who will be arriving a day early at UWEC for a planning retreat).
  • a Sustainability Tour of the UWEC campus
  • Two discussion tracks to choose from: strategies to integrate sustainability into the curriculum, and strategies for increasing sustainability in campus operations. We encourage you to bring faculty and operations staff from your campus!
Students, staff and faculty are welcome to join us! Please plan to pay for your own lunch.

The UMACS Steering Committee will meeting on Weds, May 29 for a strategic planning retreat and then committee members will participate in the 5/30 retreat. If you would like to join us on May 29 for dinner at 6 pm, you can indicate that interest on the registration form. 

We have a discounted rate of $119 at the Lismore Hotel if you would like to stay overnight before and/or after the retreat: go to the hotel website, select the “special rates” tab and enter the three-letter group code (UMA) into the “Group Code” box. Hotel Rate expires on May 13.
