CONFERENCE LODGING

We suggest the following options for lodging near the conference:
  • Camping: Campsites are available at the Abbey Arboretum for $15/person each night.  The Outdoor Leadership Center on campus is able to loan tents, sleeping bags and sleeping pads on a first come first serve basis. Showers will be available to campers on Friday Evening 8:30-9:30 pm, and Saturday morning 7-8:30 am (portable bathrooms will be available at the campsite). Firewood will be available at the campsite for a bonfire. If you are interested in this possibility, you can reserve a campsite and any equipment you need when you register for the conference. 
  • Hotels: 
  1. Homewood Suites St Cloud, to book a room use this link, group code 90E. Guests can also call 320/252-5900 and request UMACS to receive a discounted rate (reservations needs to be made by September 2). 
  2. ​The Roadway Inn in St. Joseph, MN This Inn is walking distance from the College of St. Benedict (where the conference will be on Saturday). 
  3. The Hilton Garden Inn in Waite Park, MN ​
  4. (FULL) St. John's Abbey Guesthouse: The Guesthouse is on St. John's University campus. 
  • Other Options: Groups might want to consider renting a house or apartment through VRBO and AirBnB. 

If you are planning to fly in to Minneapolis, we recommend checking out the airport shuttle service.
