Apply to be a 2024-2025 Steering Committee Member!

UMACS is seeking two people to serve on the 24-25 Steering Committee, please consider volunteering to help lead our organization as we start our 20th year! Steering Committee members are asked to commit to:
  • A three year term (unless your circumstances change)​
  • Attend four Steering Committee meetings (one breakfast meeting during the annual conference, and one 90 minute meeting in the fall, spring and summer)  and an annual planning retreat in early summer each year. 
  • Participate in one Steering Committee committee (Financial Sustainability, Programming or Conference Planning) that meets as needed, usually 3-5 times a year. 
  • Help identify possible new UMACS members.
  • Advise UMACS staff throughout the year to help UMACS "advance a more sustainable and just Midwest".
