ABOUT THE UPPER MIDWEST ASSOCIATION FOR CAMPUS SUSTAINABILITY (UMACS)
The Upper Midwest Association for Campus Sustainability was established in 2005 to support higher education staff, faculty and students in the region to advance sustainability on their campuses and in the community. We believe that by building collaborative relationships and sharing ideas and resources, we can advance our work for a more sustainable and just society.
THE CONFERENCE
Our annual conference attracts a variety of college and university students, campus sustainability professionals, faculty, staff and community partners. The event provides cutting edge research and data from regional colleges and universities on sustainability policy and practice. Attendees will learn from sustainability leaders, and participate in region-wide networking and collaboration centered around campus and community sustainability. The 2024 Conference will be hosted by Macalester College in St. Paul, Minnesota on September 20 and 21, 2024.
WHY SPONSOR?
Reach an engaged and committed audience of campus sustainability leaders, and enable more students to attend the conference so that we can support students in becoming the sustainability professionals that are needed in all sectors. Partner with us and we can help showcase our shared dedication to sustainability at the conference, through our online communications, and at pre/post-conference events.

EXPECTED CONFERENCE ATTENDANCE

  • Participants will represent at least 50 Campuses and organizations from Kansas, Illinois, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, South Dakota, North Dakota and Wisconsin
  • 350 Participants
