CONFERENCE LODGING

We suggest the following options for lodging near the conference:
  • Camping: Campsites are available at the Abbey Arboretum for $15/person each night.  The Outdoor Leadership Center on campus is able to loan tents, sleeping bags and sleeping pads on a first come first serve basis. Showers will be available to campers on Friday Evening 8:30-9:30 pm, and Saturday morning 7-8:30 am (portable bathrooms will be available at the campsite). Firewood will be available at the campsite for a bonfire. If you are interested in this possibility, you can reserve a campsite and any equipment you need when you register for the conference. 
  • St. John's Abbey Guesthouse: The Guesthouse is on St. John's University campus (where we will be on Friday). To reserve a room, please complete this form and put "Attn Cyril: UMACS” at the bottom of the form. 
  • Hotels: our Campus hosts recommend the following nearby hotels: 
  1. ​The Roadway Inn in St. Joseph, MN
  2. The Hilton Garden Inn in Waite Park, MN 
  3. There are many other hotels in Waite Park and Saint Cloud 
  • Other Options: Groups might want to consider renting a house or apartment through VRBO and AirBnB.
