CONFERENCE ATTENDEE INFORMATION

We are excited to see you on Friday, September 20!

We have 291 attendees, 128 presenters, 49 campuses and 27 community partners represented. Curious who is coming? Here is a list of attendees.

We Need Your Help!
  • Are you going to the Webber Pool or the Urban Roots Service Project on Friday Morning and are able to help with carpooling? Or would you be willing to be one of our "official" conference photographers? Please fill out this form to volunteer. Thank you!
  • Please bring your own water bottle.
  • UMACS is staffed by part-time staff and Macalester College is not charging us for event space (thank you Macalester College!), please help keep rooms clean and organized.
  • If you have not yet registered your campus as a 24-25 member, please do so!
  • Take the time to meet new people at the conference, and to learn how to improve your work as a campus sustainability leader!

Getting There
  • You can find driving directions and a campus map here. Note that both southbound lanes on Snelling will be closed from Grand to St. Clair for construction.
  • You can park anywhere on the Macalester College campus (except where a sign at an individual spot indicates otherwise).
  • Conference Registration, our Exhibit Hall, Opening and Closing Sessions and all meals will be in Kagin Commons, and all workshops will be in Olin-Rice Science Center.

Pre-Conference Activities
  • You can find all the details about our pre-conference activities here (including a list that will help you remember which activities you signed up for). Please note that there are five more tickets for Thursday's Saints game (thanks Midwest Dairy for sponsoring 75 tickets!), email us if you would like a ticket.

Exhibit Hall
Please plan to visit our Exhibit Hall on Friday 1:30-2:00 and also during lunch on Saturday. We are confident that our exhibitors can help you advance a more sustainable and just Upper Midwest! (You can learn more about the exhibitors in our detailed conference schedule).

Conference Lodging and Food
  • Lodging: If you registered to stay at the nearby church or with a Macalester student, you should have received an email about this from us. If you have not, please check your spam folder.
  • Meals: Your conference registration includes Friday dinner, Saturday lunch and an ice cream bar. We are not providing breakfast on Saturday morning (there are many great breakfast places near the conference, here are a few: Shish, French Meadow Cafe,  Dunn Brothers Coffee Shop, Hot Hands Pie and Biscuit).
  • Dietary Restrictions: If you listed a dietary restriction when you registered, the Bon Appétit staff have a plan for you to be able to eat! (If you plan to bring any of your own food, please note that we have attendees with avocado and bell pepper airborne allergies so please avoid those items.)
