Nominations for UMACS Steering Committee
The Upper Midwest Association for Campus Sustainability is currently seeking nominations for its steering committee. Click on "go to form" below for more information. The committee is composed of eight individuals from colleges and universities across the upper Midwest as well as a representative from NWF Campus Ecology. We seek regional representation as well as diversity in institution size and type. The committee is comprised of a mix of faculty and staff working on campus sustainability. Self nominations from interested individuals are strongly encouraged. Deadline for nominations is June 1. Committee members serve two year terms with most of the work being done in monthly conference calls. The primary work of UMACS is encouraging collaboration and sharing of resources and strategies between schools in the region. UMACS organizes a biennial conference as well as hosting and co-sponsoring workshops and conferences at various sites throughout the upper Midwest. We also maintain a website of campus sustainability resources and strive to encourage electronic sharing of resources. Interested individuals should nominate themselves or others by filling out the form below. If you have questions about the UMACS Steering Committee or would like more information, please contact Troy Goodnough, Jon Jensen, Juliana Goodlaw-Morris.
